Elder S. Gifford Nielsen and Wendy Nielsen

Elder S. Gifford Nielsen was sustained as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 6, 2013.
He served as the President of the North America Central Area and is currently serving as the President of the Africa West Area.

Elder Nielsen received a bachelor’s degree in 1977 from Brigham Young University and was named one of the top five scholar athletes by the National Collegiate Athletic Association. After becoming an All-American quarterback at Brigham Young University, he was selected by the Houston Oilers (now the Tennessee Titans) in the third round of the 1978 NFL draft.

Following a six-year career as quarterback for the Oilers, he worked as the sports director and anchor for KHOU-TV in Houston for 25 years. In 1994 Elder Nielsen was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. S. Gifford Nielsen was born in Provo, Utah, on October 25, 1954. He married Wendy Olson in April 1975. They are the parents of six children and have twenty-five grandchildren.

Elder Alfred Kyungu

Elder Alfred Kyungu was sustained as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 3, 2021, at age 54. He is currently serving as a second counselor in the Africa West Area presidency. Elder Kyungu received a Bachelor of Science degree in social sciences and international relations from the University of Lubumbashi in 1993. In 1996, he received a Master of Science degree in social sciences and international relations from the University of Lubumbashi.

He has worked in several positions for the Democratic Republic of the Congo government. Prior to his call as a mission president, he worked for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as coordinator and regional director for seminaries and institutes. Elder Kyungu has served in several Church callings, including counselor in a stake presidency, and president of the Democratic Republic of the Congo Mbuji-Mayi Mission from 2016 — 2019.

Alfred Kyungu Kibamba was born in Kamina, Democratic Republic of the Congo, on October 31, 1966. He married Lucie Kabulo Malale in 1998. They are the parents of three children.

HRH Alh. Dr. Yahaya Abubakar CFR

Yahaya was born at Bida in Niger State and hails from one of the ruling houses of Bida Emirate (Usman Zaki). He attended Government College, Sokoto and later Commercial College, Kano (1967–1971), then enrolled in to the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna (1973–1975) in preparation for joining the Nigerian Army.

Before his appointment as the Etsu Nupe he was the Kusodu Nupe, last military posting was to the Defense Headquarters Abuja, where he was a director of foreign operations, before retiring as a Brigadier General in September 2003.

Yahaya Abubakar Kusodu Nupe was appointed the 13th Etsu Nupe on 11 September 2003, the ruler of all the Nupe speaking people in the world (Etsu Nupe: The King of Nupe) in succession to his late uncle Alhaji Umar Sanda Ndayako. By virtue of this title he is the Chairman of the Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers.[1] He is the chairman, Coordinating Committee National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria.

(CON as elected as the Governor of Enugu State in April 2015, and was sworn on 29 May 2015 for his first term. He completed a very successful second term in office on 29 May, 2023.

Before being elected Governor, he was a member of the House of Representatives of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for 12 years representing Igboeze North/Udenu Federal Constituency of Enugu State.

He was known for his infrastructural developmental strides as Governor of Enugu State. He holds bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

H. E. Dr. Ugwuanyi is happily married to Her Excellency Monica Ugwuanyi and the marriage is blessed with children.

His Highness Muhammad Sanusi II became the 14th Fulani Emir of Kano on 8 June 2014. It is a role he desired and for which he prepared himself throughout much of his life.

Born July 31, 1961, to Muhammad Aminu Sanusi and Saudatu Anduwa Hussain, Sanusi descends from a lineage marked by its combination of royal blood and public service, in the spiritual as well as the temporal domain. Numerous imams and judges are to be found among his forebears. Sanusi’s father, who held the princely title of Chiroma of Kano, was a pioneer career diplomat of Nigeria.

He was charged with setting of Nigerian intelligent services by the late Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa in 1961.He served as Nigerian High Commissioner to Canada. He also served as Nigerian ambassador to
Belgium. In 1972 he became Nigerian first Ambassador to the People Republic
of China. He retired in 1979 as Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of External Affairs.

He is also the Director of Health in Etche Local Government Area, Rivers State. He is the assistant resident Pastor with Foundation Faith Church, Town Branch, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. He was trained as a medical doctor from the University of Port Harcourt, has a master’s degree in public health (Occupational Medicine) and is currently undergoing studies for a Doctorate Degree in Public Health at the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State. He holds a PhD in English as a Second Language (ESL), MA in Adult Education (ESL Specialty), and BFA in TV Production. Besides, he is an alumnus of the Oxford University Symposium on Religious Studies.

He is the Personal Assistant to His Eminence the National Chief Imam of Ghana and Executive Director of Islamic Peace and Security Council (PASEC).

He is also a member of the Governing Board of the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund). He is a multilinguist in Arabic, English, and French.

Elder I. Raymond Egbo was named an Area Seventy and a member of the Third Quorum of the Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 1, 2017. Elder Egbo received a Bachelor of Arts degree in geography and regional planning from the University of Calabar in 2002 and a Master of Business Administration in Leadership and Sustainability from the University of Cumbria united kingdom. He began working for the Church Educational System as an institute director in 2002 and became an area director in 2012. Since joining the Church in 1989, Elder Egbo has served in a number of Church callings, including full-time missionary in the Nigeria Lagos Mission, branch mission leader, counselor in a district mission presidency, district councilor, counselor in a district presidency, counselor in a stake presidency, mission president (Nigeria Calabar Mission, 2009—2012) and stake high councilor.

Idyo Raymond Egbo was born in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. He married Comfort Ikip Ese in 2003. They are the parents of two children. Elder and Sister Egbo reside in Abuja, Nigeria.

Mrs. Adebisi Lilian Bimbo is the Acting Registrar of marriages at the Federal Ministry of Interior (Federal marriage Registry Abuja).

Upon her employment by the Federal Government of Nigeria, she was in the state House Aso villa as the Departmental training officer for 15 years where she had the opportunity to participate in many management trainings.

She is a member of the Administrative staff college of Nigeria, a Counsellor of marriage/ teenage teacher in RCCG. She has a master’s degree in public administration.

Prof. Grace Eno Nta

Eno Grace Nta is a professor of Discourse Studies in the Department of English and Literary Studies (ELS), University of Calabar and presently is the Deputy Vice- Chancellor Administration.

She has served as a Visiting Professor at the National Universities Commission; Member of the Council of the University of Calabar; Head of ELS Department; Director of the Centre for Learning and Teaching Excellence, in addition to several other academic positions at the University of Calabar.

She has over forty publications to her credit. She has been a member of the marriage course team for decades at
St. Paul Catholic Parish, University of Calabar. She is currently the President of the Catholic Women Organization in her Parish where she serves as a leader and mentor to Catholic women.

She is happily married (over 40 years) and the union is blessed with children and grandchildren.

He is the host of “Legal Issues Your Rights” on a local radio station. He is a social commentator, an advocate of the less privileged in society and has the zeal to protect the fundamental human rights of all. He is a family lawyer and has been married for 20 years with four girls.

Dr. Adesoye Isiaka Mustapha

Dr Adesoye Isiaka Mustapha is an experienced educationist, a researcher and an expert in public sector governance and development administration. He obtained a PhD in Public Administration with a strong minor in Comparative Politics and Development Studies from the then Department of Political Science and Public Administration, University of Benin. His research efforts have focused substantially on human capital development as fundamental in the task of administration of development. His over two decades’ career in the Nigerian educational sector has not only engaged him in the development of young minds, it has also exposed him to developing the right learning materials specific to public policy on human capital development. Isiaka has all along been committed to developmental state ideology in a transition economy like Nigeria’s.

He is both an independent as well as collaborative researcher and is widely published in both local and international scholarly journals.

Isiaka is a devout Muslim. He is a strong member of Nasrul-Lahi-l-Fathi (NASFAT) Society where he has held positions of responsibility up to the present.

Prior to being Mayor, he was elected Vice-Mayor of the same City from August 2015-May 2020. He is a certified English teacher and was teaching in Benin secondary schools when he was elected as Mayor of the City of Aguegues. He is married and the father of four children. Hon Justice Esohe Frances Ikponmwen is a retired Chief Judge of Edo State after over 40 years in public office. She is a Fellow Commonwealth judicial education institute, Fellow of Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators. A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since 1994 and has held several church callings. Presently she is the Area Organizations Advisor for Benin City Nigeria Area Council of the Church.

She is well travelled and decorated with many awards. A patron of the Boys Brigade, Edo State Council, first Female President of Scout Council of Edo State. A Jerusalem Pilgrim. She has two books in her name. She also holds a Chieftaincy title of Izehi- Uwa of Ebelle. She has been married to Chief Edward Osawaru Ikponmwen since August 1974 and they are blessed with 5 children although painfully she lost her only son. They have 11 grandchildren.

Sabina Idowu-Osehobo

Sabina Idowu-Osehobo has an educational background that spans the fields of mass communication, English Language Literature and developmental studies. She is an alumnus of the Chief Executive Programme CEP 26 of the Lagos Business school. She has worked with various media organizations including The Nigerian Observer and Here and There magazine where she served as editor. She is a broadcaster and presenter of the television programme Bridging the Gap which airs on some television stations in Nigeria. Sabina is skillful in the design and implementation of social and health programs. A highly experienced trainer she has attended several courses including Project Management, Community Home-Base Care and Prevention of Mother-to-Child Transmission of HIV/AIDS (CHBC/ PMTCT) and HIV Counselling and Testing (HCT) organized by USAID/Pathfinders International in Abuja in 2004.

Sabina joined Lift Above Poverty Organization (LAPO) in 1998 and rose through the ranks to become Executive Director in the organization, providing financial and non- financial services in the areas of health, business management and financial literacy which has impacted positively on the lives of millions of Nigeriansas shown by verifiable records. She is the Founder and Executive Director of OSENO CENTRE (OSEC) an organization she started when she left LAPO. Sabina sits on the board of various organizations. Rt. Rev. Oscar C Amoah is currently the Anglian Bishop of Kumasi in Ghana. He is a God-fearing Minister of God with proven ministries–Teaching, Healing and Deliverance. He holds MSC degree in Developing Policy and Planning (DEPP) from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Having obtained his B.A. Hons from University of Ghana, Postgraduate diploma in Education from the University of Cape Coast, Diploma in Theology, UCC, and licentiate in Theology from St. Nicholas Theological Seminary, Cape Coast. He is an Educationist, and, in that career, he rose from a classroom tutor to Assistant Headmaster (Administration), Headmaster of a senior high school and a Principal of College of Education. In all, he had about 35 years of teaching experience before his retirement in November 2018. He then became the Dean of St Cyprian Anglican Cathedra, Kumasi until his enthronement in February 2021 as a Bishop. He is an author with six (6) Christian books to his credit. He is the Chairman of the Kumasi Chaplaincy Board and is married to Jane with one daughter, Diana.

Maminah Gorlon Carr-Gaye works as the Assistant Minister for Children and Social Protection at the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection. Until her appointment in government, she worked in several positions of trust within the civil society sector. She is the focal person on Trafficking in Person (TIP) at the Ministry. She runs an interim care for children who come in contact with the law including trafficked children. She is a self- motivated, enthusiastic public servant, a social justice activist, and a children rights advocate. Honorable Gaye has over 12 years of experience in human rights advocacy and nearly 7 years of emphasis on women, children, and other vulnerable groups.

Yovo Kokouvi Ketowotsa is a traditional chief for the Kpogan Village, Baguida Canton, Golfe6 Commune and Golfe Prefecture. He is a retired teacher and President of ACTCB (Baguida Canton Traditional Chiefs Association). He is a member of the steering committee for the Municipal Development Plan. He is the vice president of the higher council of the community of Be’’ HABOBO. He saves as an honorary member of Kpogan for Christ, an association that gathers native sons and daughters that believe
in Christ. Their purpose is to save souls for Christ. He is a trained member of a group that assists and helps vulnerable young women and children or any type of violence victim. He is the steering body resource person for Grande Coalition Baguida, an anti-drug coalition that helps youth with drug abuse.

He holds an MBA in Strategic Management & Consulting from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), School of Business, an International Business Certificate on culture from KNUST, a certificate in marketing, a certificate in cleaning science in Johannesburg, South Africa, and a Bachelor of Arts from KNUST.

He is the founder of Aenon Artisanal Mining Limited, a small-scale mining company with concessions in Bibiani in the Western Region.He was in 2012 selected as running mate by Mr. Jacob Osei Yeboah (JOY) an independent presidential candidate in the 2012 Presidential Election. King Dr Tackie Teiko Tsuru II was also appointed Advisor to the Liberal Studies Department of Kumasi Polytechnic. He also taught entrepreneurship at Kumasi Polytechnic and the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

HON. CLAUDIANA AYO COLE, became the Minister for the Basic and Secondary Education Ministry following the inauguration of President Adama Barrow, President of the Republic of The Gambia in 2017.

Mrs. Cole was a member of the Senior Management Team of the Ministry and as a Regional Education Director, since 2010 prior to her taking up the top office of Minister. She was appointed as a teacher in 1981, Headteacher in 1990 and from 2002 she served as a Senior Education Administrator.

As one of the longest-serving educationists with more than three decades in the educational sector, she is known for her work on education policy reforms and management of education even in hard-to- reach areas of the country.

MRS. JOSEPHINE KAFUI TETTEH received a degree in Psychology and an MPHIL in Guidance and Counseling. She owns her own Counseling firm, The Center for Life Balance. She conducts private counseling sessions and conducts workshops on the subject, “Essential Life Education – The Science of Self-Discovery and Life Mastery for Individuals and Corporate Bodies.”

Mrs. Tetteh is also employed as the school’s counselor of St. Bernadette Soubirous school, Dansoman where I run reprogramming models that reorient children into self-awareness and their greatness.

In addition, she is a Court Connected Mediator at the Weija Circuit Court and a Minister of God at the Etherean Mission International, the Center for spiritual empowerment.

ELDER SAMUEL ANNAN-SIMONS was named an Area Seventy and a member of the Third Quorum of the Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at the April 2021 general conference. Elder Annan-Simons received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Central University and a Master of Science Development Degree in Finance from the University of Ghana. Since 2005, he has worked for The Church of Jesus Christ

of Latter-day Saints in several positions, including Treasury Analyst, MLU Analyst, and Planning Analyst. He currently works as Temple Assistant Recorder.

Elder Annan-Simons has served in a number of Church callings, including full-time missionary in the Ghana Accra Mission, Ward Clerk, Counselor in a Bishopric, Stake Young Men President,

Bishop, High Councilor, and Stake President. Samuel Annan-Simons was born in Sekondi, Ghana, on June 22, 1975. He married Gertrude Theodora Afful in 2006. They are the parents of four children. Elder and Sister Annan-Simons reside in Kasoa, Ghana.

COULIBALY KALAHIRI GERMAIN is a priest of the Roman Catholic Church in Katiola, a town in northern Côte d’Ivoire. After a master’s degree at the Catholic University of West Africa in Abidjan, he obtained a Doctorate in Catholic Theology with a specialization in Missiology at the University of Strasbourg in France.

Father Kalari has 32 years of priestly experience as a priest and currently practices in Katiola. He created the Center d’Accueil Sainte Généviéve in Katiola to protect abandoned children and to promote their empowerment.

He is the first recipient of Family Values Awards from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

KWAKU SAFORI is a communications enthusiast with over ten years studying and practising in the field of communications. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication studies from the Central University and two Master’s degrees, one in Development Communication, from the Ghana Institute of Journalism, and the other in Business Communication, from the University of Education Winneba.

He is the Executive Assistant to the Chairman of the African Business Centre for Developing Education, an NGO focused on helping the business community to deliver various services to the educational sector, and a Communications Consultant at African Business Communication, an international corporate and marketing communications consultancy firm.

He was formally the International Students Relations Officer at the Pentecost University, a lead liaison, bridging the gap between Management and all international students. He was also a mentor to a cross section of students at the University.

SAM SONI EJEKWU KGS JP is the Honourable Commissioner for Chieftaincy and Community Affairs in Rivers State of Nigeria.

Sam Soni Ejekwu has obtained Bachelor of Science degree in Human Anatomy from the University of Port Harcourt, Post-Graduate Diploma and Master of Science degrees in Human Resource Management from the Rivers State University, Master of Science degree in Public Health from Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Public Health from the University of Port Harcourt.

FRANCIS ADDAI-NIMOH Hon Francis Addai-Nimoh is a Ghanaian politician with strong Christian faith background. He is a professional Civil Engineer and has served his country with expertise in both private and public sectors. He, academically, holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration and has acquired also diverse professional skills and knowledge, from both local and international institutions.

Since joining the Church in 1989, Elder Egbo has served in several Church callings, including full-time missionary in the Nigeria Lagos Mission, counselor in a stake presidency, counselor in a district presidency, high councilor, and mission president (Nigeria Calabar Mission, 2009–2012). He married Comfort Ikip Ese in 2003. They are the parents of two children. Elder and Sister Egbo reside in Abuja, Nigeria

GLORIA ODIMBA is a Principal State Counsel with the Office of the Public Defender, Lagos State, Nigeria, a Human Rights Advocate, and a Child Protection Specialist. A graduate of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, she was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2007. Odimba Gloria is a versed Criminal Defense Counsel and a trained Child Justice Administrator who has attended several pieces of training such as the National Institute of Trial Advocacy NITA (USA) Training on Child Justice, and HarvardX training on Child Protection, amongst others.

She has also facilitated and conducted several pieces of training on Criminal Justice Administration and Child Protection/ Rights for Police Officers, Teachers and Teenagers, Churches, and Schools. She volunteers with the Feeders Foundation, An NGO interested in the well-being of children.

CYNTHIA OHEMAA APPIAH, She studied Political Science at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and did her national service at Ejuratia secondary school as a government teacher. She worked for a cleaning company after national service for a year and then secured a job with an insurance company.

She worked with the insurance company for 5 years after which she resigned to start her own business.

She runs a travel and tour company. In the year 2021, she created a platform on Facebook called Women in Business where other women like herself are given the opportunity to advertise their products and services for free. The main objective is to inspire women to be financially self-sufficient by creating business opportunities and sharing business ideas.

With a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Shenyang Aerospace University, China, Wode Maya has, over the years been able to create a niche for himself in the area of Social Media Content creation and in a space of a few years; his channel grew in popularity, attracting over 1,000,000 active subscribers and millions of views. He has collaborated with other top YouTubers from Africa and also helped small content creators & Entrepreneurs gain massive exposure.

He has managed to interview a plethora of diplomats, Entrepreneurs and Cultural icons. Notable in this list are Former President of the Republic of Ghana, John Kufuor, Renowned Kenyan Lawyer & Pan-Africanist Prof. PLO Lumumba and more.

SHEIK DR. MOHAMMED MARZUQ ABUBAKARI, is a lecturer, journalist, and researcher on a wide range of issues in Language, Education, and Religion. He holds a Ph.D. in English as a Second Language (ESL), MA in Adult Education (ESL Specialty), and BFA in TV Production. Schools he attended include the National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI), University of Ghana, Legon, and Ain Shams University, Egypt. JAMES KWESI ADDISON is Ghana’s first internationally qualified Emotional Intelligence Master Coach. His training was facilitated by the EQ Development Group on behalf of the Multi-Health Systems Incorporated, Canada.

MADAME MARIAMA SÉNABOU SANE born on October 26, 1974, in Dakar, social worker, and head of social services at the Limamou Laye High School in Guédiawaye in the Dakar region.

Since 2018 I have been working at the Ministry of Women, Family, Gender, and Protection of Vulnerable Groups in the Directorate of Family and Protection of Vulnerable Groups as responsible for monitoring vulnerable groups.

REV. PROF. CHARLES ANUM ADAMS is an Associate Professor of Transport Planning and Engineering at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi (KNUST). He is the Centre Leader and Director of the World Bank-financed Africa Centre of Excellence (ACE), Regional Transport Research and Education Centre Kumasi (TRECK), and the Centre leader of the Centre for Sub Saharan Transport leadership (CSSTL).

He is a professional civil engineer and the current president of the Ghana Institution of Engineering (GhIE). He is a member of the International Road Federation, World Road Association, and the Volvo Research and Educational Foundations (VREF) research network scholar.

Charles is a civil engineering graduate of KNUST and studied transport at University College London/ Imperial College, London, UK. He is a member of the Technical Committee of the Southern African Transport Conference.
